đź’°Tips to Secure The Bag in 2025
If you know me, you know that I am constantly seeking opportunities to grow and understand my place in the world and then share that insight with others (sorry if you’ve been a victim of my TedTalks, LOL). Until now, my journey has been chiefly focused on personal development, but lately, I have felt a calling to expand my business (and, let’s be real…also my bank account.)
Though I love my vagabond minimalist lifestyle and have no signs of stopping soon, I also know I want to put roots down someday. When I do, I want to make sure I have enough money to start a permaculture homestead. As long as I never put money ahead of my mental or physical health or relationships, acquiring more money will give me something else very precious: the ability to pour into others. I can contribute to organizations that align with my values and impact more people’s lives, for example. Expanding my business will also allow me to employ some folks and help even more people break free from the matrix and/or share their gifts with the world. Staying small isn’t doing anyone any favors!

So here’s what I’ve been doing to help secure the bag in 2025:
I listened to the Money and the Law of Attraction audiobook by Esther and Abraham Hicks for free on Spotify Premium to help me wash that lack mindset right out of my hair.
I signed up for a free mentorship with a SCORE mentor - I got the recommendation from a random YouTube video, and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I had my first meeting with a retired businessman named Dale yesterday, and boy, let me tell ya, Dale delivered. He listened intently, asked great questions, gave me tips on how to grow and protect my business, gave me some helpful contacts, and gave me homework - to fill out a business plan. We meet again in 6 weeks, and I am just so excited to have someone help hold me accountable. It’s true what they say - the teacher appears when the student is ready!
I joined Arlan’s All Access membership - a business incubator outlining all the steps you should take to grow your business as well as a supportive community. I stumbled upon Arlan’s YouTube videos a few months ago, and I just love how she delivers information. After seeing her latest IG post, I finally decided to take the plunge and buy the annual membership. When I was putting in my credit card information, I said aloud to absolutely no one, “I have somewhere to go!”
Because I do.
Will it work? I have no idea, but I am excited to give it a shot. Join me?
